Red Hat Enterprise Linux on Amazon EC2 Hourly Beta is the certified and supported operating platform purchasable by the hour, delivered by Amazon and supported by Red Hat. It gives you everything you need to immediately start developing and hosting your applications: A hosted server, bandwidth, storage, and the leading open source operating system, Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
This BETA offering includes: Ability to execute Red Hat Enterprise Linux AMI's on EC2, One (1) Red Hat Network Update Entitlement, Unlimited Email Support with 2 Business Day Response Time SLA.
A monthly subscription is required for access and entitlement to the services above. All usage of instantiated servers will be billed for on an hourly usage basis and will vary depending upon the size of the EC2 virtual instance created. Bandwidth usage non Red Hat fees such as additional storage via Amazon S3 will be at an additional per-use cost. Currently available in the US-East datacenter for all customers, there is limited image and customer availability in the US-West datacenter.
